If I had to play favorites, I'd say that event photography is my favorite type of photography. I love being a fly on the wall at parties, gatherings, fundraisers, wedding receptions - watching the smiles and the reunions, the excitement and the fun.  I specialize in getting close while remaining unobtrusive to capture those raw, real moments that you want to remember forever. My experience as a reporter really pays off here - I know how to watch and wait for those important little moments that really matter. I also know it's not just about the people - it's about the setting and those little details that tie the event together - so in addition to fabulous photos of your friends and family, you'll get images of the venue and all those little details you worked so hard to put together.

I've been fortunate enough to shoot several fun member events at the Boston Center for Adult Education, worked several private parties on Cape Cod, and of course a number of wedding receptions. If you're looking for a photographer who will be part of your event enough to capture the moment but not so much that she crashes the party - you've come to the right place.
